MEET THE OWNER
Therapeutic Craft Professional
SherriAnn Harris is the founder of Craft 2 you LLC and has over 20 years of experience working with developmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges in various settings. Throughout her career, she connected with patients, students, and families to promote positive behavioral changes. Some of the most impactful roles in her professional career included serving as a unit coordinator for children on the Autism Spectrum, program coordinator for at-risk adolescents in the hospital setting, Behavioral counselor in the public-school setting, and differently able children in the faith-based community.
During these roles, she had the opportunity to mentor staff, model effective ways to reduce maladaptive behavior, and increase children’s ability to function in the world around them. SherriAnn has found that no matter what role she served, the one tool she found most effective in connecting with through crafting. She found that arts and crafts allowed children and adults to slow down, learn self-regulation skills, and open up in ways that allowed deal with life’s challenges
